17. Feb 25, 2013. #1. Hi. My 2007 ducato 2.2 100 van sometimes makes a whirring noise instead of starting, then next turn it does start. Am i right in suspecting the starter or solenoid and how how difficult is it to change the starter motor in terms of access and location of bolts etc? Many thanks.
